Where and how to use Google Pay in stores
Google Pay can be used in more places than you think. It works in selected supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, clothing stores, gas stations, beauty shops, and other retailers that accept mobile payments.
On Android devices in eligible countries, you can use Google Pay to pay in stores if you see one of these logos:

How Google Pay works
If you have added one or more payment methods to Google Pay, you can set up contactless payment.
- Open the Google Pay app.
- At the top left, press the menu Payment Methods.
- Select Turn on contactless payment next to the payment method you want to configure for contactless payment.
- Follow the instructions to confirm the payment method.
How to pay with Google Pay
1. Install or open the app.

3. Pay in a shop.
When asked to pay, simply unlock your phone and hold the back of it up to the payment terminal until you see a blue tick.
