Installments
When you make a purchase with ViaBill, whether online or in a physical store, we will immediately charge an initial payment that corresponds to a percentage of your total purchase. This percentage is based on your installment agreement. The remaining amount will be divided into monthly payments, with the first payment due on your next scheduled payment date.
For example, if you have an agreement with 4 installments, you will pay 25% upfront. If you have an agreement with 20 installments, you will pay 5% upfront, and so on.
If you have a ViaBill+ account, you can change your number of installments.
Failed Payments
If the payment of your monthly installment fails, we'll attempt smaller withdrawals.
You can always pay your due amount manually by following these steps.
Payment Date
Your fixed payment date is determined by your first ViaBill purchase date; e.g., if you buy on Feb 20th, subsequent payments are on the 20th of each month.
Account Fee
ViaBill+ accounts have a fixed monthly fee based on the account creation or upgrade date. Remember there are no account fees with a 0 kr balance.
Example:
If you create a paid account on Feb 15th, you pay the fee immediately and subsequently on Mar 15th, Apr 15th, etc.
A 3000kr purchase on Feb 20th results in a 150kr upfront payment, with the remaining balance divided into 19 installments due on Mar 20th, Apr 20th, etc.
A second purchase for 500kr on Feb 25th means a 25kr upfront payment, and 475kr is added to your used balance, making the next payment on Mar 20th 175kr.
