What should I do if my payment fails?

These are the three most common reasons:

  • Your payment may fail if there are insufficient funds on your payment card.

  • Your payment may fail if your card is expired or inactive.

  • Your payment may fail if your bank rejects the transaction.

If your payment has not gone through, it’s important to act quickly to avoid additional fees or restrictions on your account. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Update your card information

  • Open the ViaBill app or log in to MyViaBill.

  • Go to ‘Payment Details’ under your account.

  • Remove the existing card and re-add it, or add a new one.

  • Make sure the linked card has sufficient funds available.

Once your card information is updated, we will automatically attempt to collect the outstanding amount again shortly.

Make a manual payment

If you prefer to pay the outstanding amount manually, you can do so via bank transfer. Follow the instructions in this article: Manual Payment.
