Before a payment can be transferred to your bank account, your identity as well as your ownership of your webshop and bank account documents must be verified.

ViaBill is subject to Danish legislation on preventive measures against money laundering and the financing of terrorism*. ViaBill is therefore required to collect certain information about you and your company. This also helps to guarantee that ViaBill only cooperates with professional and serious webshops.

ViaBill may therefore not settle receivables until money laundering documentation** has been uploaded and approved.

You can do this by logging in to MyViaBill and uploading your documentation under the Documentation tab.

Once the documentation has been uploaded, it can take up to five business days before the documentation is approved and any payments can be made.

If you have questions about money laundering documentation or cannot upload the documentation via MyViaBill, you can write or send the documentation via e-mail to hvidvask@viabill.com .

Documentation

Specifically, we need three documents, which can either be in the form of a PDF or an image (JPEG).

  1. Identity documents: Submit a color copy of either passport, national identification card (front and back), or driver's license for each person who owns at least 25% of the company in question. The documents must be valid.
  2. Bank account: Take a screenshot of your bank account from your online bank or submit an account statement that shows the registration and account number as well as the name of the account holder. All three parts must appear in the same file. In addition, the account holder's name must be identical to the name of the company that appears on the company's report or registration certificate.
  3. Registration certificate/Business report: Upload a copy of the company's registration certificate from SKAT or the Danish Business Authority. Alternatively, a company report can be downloaded via CVR.
