Monthly installment and account fee

Monthly Payment
When you make a purchase with ViaBill—either online or in a physical store—we will immediately charge an initial payment equal to a percentage of your total purchase. This percentage is determined by your installment agreement.

The remaining amount will be split into monthly payments, with the first payment charged on your next scheduled payment date.

For example:
If you have an agreement with 4 installments, you’ll pay 25% upfront.
If your agreement includes 20 installments, you’ll pay 5% upfront—and so on.

If you have a ViaBill+ account, you can change your number of installments.

Failed Payments
In case we are unable to collect your monthly payment, we will continue to attempt to withdraw the amount in smaller portions.
This means that if we cannot collect 100% of the outstanding payment, we may try to withdraw 50%, 20%, or a fixed amount of DKK 100.

Even if a partial amount is successfully withdrawn, we may continue to attempt additional charges until the full amount has been collected.

You can always make a manual payment to settle your outstanding balance by following these steps.

Your Monthly Payment Day
This is the day you make your first purchase with ViaBill. So, if you make your first purchase on February 20th, all future monthly payment dates will be on the 20th of each month.

Account Fee
If you have a ViaBill+ account, you will have a fixed day each month when you pay your monthly account fee. This is determined by the day you create your account or upgrade your credit.

The maximum account fee listed is the highest fee that can be charged according to your specific agreement.

We charge the account fee until the month in which your balance is fully paid off. After that, you won’t have to pay the account fee again until you start using the account once more.

Example
If you create your account on February 15th, you will pay your monthly account fee for the upcoming month immediately, and then on the 15th of April, May, and so on.

If you then make a purchase of DKK 3,000 on February 20th, you will pay the down payment on the purchase immediately, i.e., you will pay DKK 150 right away. The remaining amount will be split into 19 payments, with your next monthly payment of DKK 150 due on April 20th, May 20th, and so on.

If you then choose to make a purchase of DKK 500 on February 25th, you will pay DKK 25 at the time of purchase, and the remaining DKK 475 will be split into 19 payments of DKK 25. These payments will be added to your current monthly payments, so your monthly payment on April 20th will be DKK 150 + DKK 25 = DKK 175.
