WooCommerce - Payment PriceTag

Introduction

ViaBill - WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin that enables you as a webshop owner to accept orders paid with ViaBill on your WordPress/WooCommerce webshop. You will therefore be able to withdraw and refund orders paid with ViaBill directly in WooCommerce. Furthermore, you can activate the ViaBill PriceTag directly in the plugin, which ensures your webshop a higher conversion rate and an increased basket size.

Installation

It is simple to install our WordPress plugin, ViaBill - WooCommerce. This can be done directly in WordPress under Plugins. Alternatively, the plugin can be downloaded from the WordPress plugin directory. Here you will also find the official change log and a link to the source code.

Minimum requirements

• WooCommerce 3.3 or later,
• PHP version 5.6 or later (PHP 7.2 or later recommended),
• SSL must be installed on your webshop and activated for all checkout pages.

How to install ViaBill - WooCommerce plugin.

1. Log in to your WordPress account. You must have administrator access.
2. Click on Plugins in the menu on the left.
3. Click Add New just below or to the right of Plugins.
4. Enter "ViaBill" in the search field in the upper right corner and press Enter to search.
5. Find our ViaBill - WooCommerce plugin in the list of plugins and press Install now.
6. Once the plugin is installed, press Activate.

If you prefer to install our plugin via WordPress' upload function, you can instead press Upload plugin in the upper left corner, to the right of Add plugins. Then press Select File and find where you saved the file. Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop the .zip file into the upload window.

Connect to your ViaBill account

The first time you press Activate, you will automatically be taken to a new window where you will be asked to create a ViaBill account or log in with your existing ViaBill account.

Create a ViaBill account

If you are not yet a customer of ViaBill, you must enter the necessary information. All fields are required.

1. E-mail: Enter the e-mail that must be connected to your ViaBill account. Only one e-mail can be assigned per ViaBill account. You will subsequently need to use the same e-mail to log in to MyViaBill, where you can see all your information, upload money laundering documentation, and keep an eye on transactions and payments.
2. Country: Enter the country where your company is located.
3. Webshop URL: The web address of the website.
4. Contact person: Name of a contact person whom ViaBill can contact in urgent cases.
5. Telephone number: Telephone number of the above contact person. Only used for technical problems or similar emergency situations. Cannot be seen by ViaBill's customers.
6. Terms and conditions: Before creating your ViaBill account, you must first accept our terms and conditions. You can read our terms and conditions by clicking on the link to the right of the check box or by clicking here.

Once you have entered all the required information, press Register. You will immediately be taken to a new page where you can activate the payment with ViaBill and set the ViaBill PriceTag.

You will also automatically receive an email from us as confirmation that your ViaBill account has been created. Here you will be asked to send some more information about your company as well as a logo for the ViaBill Shop overview.

Log in with an existing ViaBill account

If you already have a ViaBill account, you can log in with the e-mail and password you normally use to log in to MyViaBill. You are automatically forwarded to a new page where you can activate the payment with ViaBill and set the ViaBill PriceTag.

If you have forgotten your password, you can have a new one sent to you on our website.

Settings

Once you have successfully logged in, you can activate ViaBill payment and ViaBill PriceTag. Below you will find a detailed guide designed to guide you through setting up ViaBill payment and ViaBill Pricetag.

ViaBill Payment

You can then activate the payment inside the module.

ViaBill PriceTag

You will find ViaBill PriceTag settings as a separate tab under WooCommerce in WordPress. Tap on WooCommerce in the menu on the left. Then tap Settings below. ViaBill PriceTag is typically one of the last tabs.

To activate the display of the ViaBill Pricetag on your webshop, you must put a tick in the checkbox next to Activate PriceTag.

You can then activate the ViaBill PriceTag for each individual location. To activate the ViaBill PriceTag, you simply have to tick the checkboxes next to the Product page, Shopping basket, and Payment options respectively.

1. Product page: This refers to the products and goods you may have on your webshop.
2. Shopping basket: The shopping basket is the customer's total order, also called basket.
3. Payment options: PriceTag can also be inserted in the checkout when the customer has to choose a payment method.

Once you have activated the ViaBill PriceTag, remember to press Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

In some cases, it is necessary to adjust the placement of the ViaBill PriceTag. This is done by inserting a query selector and a price trigger, as instructed below. Exactly which selector and trigger to insert depends on the webshop's theme and code. The following is therefore just one example of how it can look. It is also possible to insert your own custom CSS.

The procedure is the same for product cards, shopping baskets, and payment options. Remember to press Save Changes at the bottom of the page when you're done.
